| This is the 1794 survey of the tract of
land that David Lindsey sold to Zachariah Connell in 1787. Connell
patented the parcel as "Mud Island".
The paperwork that Connell
filed for "Mud Island" makes no mention of David Lindsey as a former
owner. But David Lindsey was named as the owner in 1785, when
Connell had an adjoining tract, "Woodstock" surveyed. See the survey
