Jacob Lindsey served in several capacities: chain bearer to lay out official buildings, juror, and tax receiver.  He also administered the estate of Isham Strong.

Court Ordered Child Support

Poss: Jackson County, Georgia Early Court Records 1796 1831 Page 146 (no date given on this page, the next court date was in July, 1804)

Jacob Lindsey was ordered to pay support for Candace Peak, an illegitimate child of Judea Peak.  Jacob was reportedly the father.  He was ordered to pay $20 a year for four years, and then the court would make further orders.
